The bone trumpet is a ritual wind instrument from Tibet that used to be made of real bones and is now made of synthetic resin. The origin of such ceremonial instruments goes back to the time of the Bön tradition, the ancient animistic-shamanistic natural religion of Tibet. The bone trumpet was and is used in rituals that are dedicated to the Dharma protectors, rain and healing rituals and, above all, the Chöd practice.
Comes in a brocade storage pouch.
Dimensions 32 cm
Weight 265 g
Our test: Is playable and sounds almost like a "real" bone trumpet. Very good alternative.
