Narration:
Tuomas come in various shapes, and each has its own special shape and color according to different sects of Tibetan Buddhism. These are manifestations that repeatedly show that Buddhas and Bodhisattvas benefit sentient beings. Duoma can also be made from various items, such as food, gold, silver, jewelry, wood, soil, etc., depending on the length of time it is used. Most of the colors are red, yellow, white, and black; the shapes are round, square, semicircular, and triangular, each representing the meanings of interest, increase, embrace, and death.
The Tibetan pronunciation of "Torma" is "多瀭". The Tibetan word "duo" means "release", which means to make offerings and sacrifices. The word "Ma" means earth or mother, which means that everything is universal and contains everything.
