Maitreya's Uttaratantra with its commentary by Jamgon Kongtrul, explained by Khenpo Tsultrim Gyamtso. This deals with the basis of enlightenment, Buddha nature, present within all beings. The book includes a translation of the Uttaratantra, which is one of the 'five treatises` said to have been dictated to Asanga by the bodhisattva Maitreya, presenting the Buddha`s definitive teachings on how we should understand the ground of enlightenment and clarifying the nature and qualities of Buddhahood.
